Tap Dance CCA
Tap Dance CCA
The Tap Dance CCA provides opportunities for students to develop a lifelong passion for dance.
Students learn dances comprising Modern and Contemporary dance movements. They are exposed to a variety of music genres like Jazz and Hip-Hop and they learn a combination of footwork techniques such as the Shirley Temple, Flap Ball Change and Scuffle.
To encourage critical and inventive thinking, students ideate their own choreography and hone their communication skills when they critique their peers’ choreography. The Tap Dance CCA mainly focuses on instilling in students a sense of graciousness and an appreciation for the arts, inculcate in students the values of respect, resilience, discipline, character building & team spirit, as well as promote the development of social interaction.
